Episode 42: What makes a good marriage Great? A conversation about how community and key principles help you create significance
*Over the next several weeks we will be covering key principles or virtues that we believe are important to helping you achieve optimal performance and reach your full potential in every area of your life!
On today’s episode we have a conversation with our dear friends, Calvin and Rhona Little. These two are near to our hearts. They are modeling some key principles that we believe can help you create a deeper commitment to your spouse and live into your full potential.
When we asked these two to be on the podcast we knew it was going to be good. We honestly thought we would ask a few questions and have a great time. We didn’t know how well it would fit within the concepts used in our coaching practice. The first concept that you will notice is the power of community. Calvin and Rhona share how their community has shared in their struggles and victories. Community for them is a grounding and centering piece and has been a source of strength. Within the context of community, they called on values and virtues that helped them create an impact that is reverberating through their life and community! Today we look at the virtues of:
Learnability – The ease with which a person is able to learn and absorb new information.
Empathy – The ability to join the emotional state of another person, to feel what another person feels.
Humility – Self- aware and transparent about one’s weaknesses and strengths.
Authenticity – Alignment between, thoughts, beliefs and actions despite external or internal pressure.
You will not hear these named and described you will see them put into practice in how Calvin and Rhona live out their faith and live their authentic life!
